Evaluating the Hunger Prevention Act quality control reforms
- Year:
- 1991
- Subject:
- Food stamps -- United States and Food relief -- United States
- Abstract:
- This report presents the results of an evaluation that examines two related quality control concerns: whether current food stamp QC error rates appropiately account for the interaction in benefits between the food stamp program and aid to families with dependent children; and whether QC policies that focus on the reduction of overpayment error tend to promote an increase in underpayment error.
